News: Kwesé TV Set For Broadcast As Christian Billionaire Strive Masiyiwa Acquires Rights

Kwesé TV Set For Broadcast As Christian Billionaire Strive Masiyiwa Acquires Rights

Econet, owned by Christian business man Strive Masiyiwa announced the launch of Kwesé TV last year and has since been trying to acquire broadcasting rights with exceptional value.
After about 12 months of processing,  the new network which has been said will rival the popular MultiChoice,  is finally ready to begin broadcast with Sports and Entertainment content.
Strive Masiyiwa, the CEO of the venture, said in a long post on his Facebook that the company has taken its time to develop strategies that will pitch it as a force in the broadcasting business in Africa,  not just another Broadcasting network.
“We are now entering an exciting phase where we will now begin to launch our services”, he said.
“We’ve spent the last 12 months fighting for [] rights. My team and I have travelled all over the world, and met suppliers of content, including major international studios and sports organizations.
“This has really been a journey to bring you the stars, and we can’t wait to share with you…”
According to Masiyiwa, some of the rights have never been aired in Africa and also,  some African film producers have been commissioned to develop content that will be peculiar to Kwese TV.
Download the Kwese TV app on your PC, tablets and smartphone to get access to some of the channels and rights already acquired
